We will tell you the story of our family, of how our company was born and our mission to cultivate high hills grapes to create unique and renowned wines. We will visit the Fruttaio, the special place where the prestigious Amarone and Recioto wine grapes are placed to dry and we will tell you about the biochemical processes occurring during the drying phase in the Fruttaio building. At the end, you’ll be guided through the wine-making area and the barrel room, where even through long-time ageing our wine will mature the characteristic traits that distinguish our firm.
This guided tour will grant you the possibility to taste the exclusivity of our Amarone Riserva “Il Fornetto”, produced with grapes of strictly the best vintages from the vineyard of the same name, which, according to the Accordini family, represents the highest expression of quality.
At the end of the visit, in the welcoming tasting hall or over the panoramic terrace, we will guide you into a wine and food tasting experience. 6 wines paired with 3 kinds of local cheeses and some cold cuts: local salami called soppressa and speck flavored with rosemary will be perfect if paired with younger and fresher wines, while with the more structured and full-bodied wines we suggest the taste of the three local cheeses included: Grana Padano, fresh Caciotta di Monte Veronese and a special blue cheese aged for six months in chocolate and rum, which will delight your palates with unique notes of their kind. Finally we will surprise you with an exclusive berry of Corvinone, which is the variety of grape used for making Amarone and Recioto, aged under Grappa di Amarone “Il Fornetto” , as the Accordini family tradition.
